Today’s reason why we have it better comes courtesy of Brian Mull. The last tidbit announces:

the UNCW Basketball Show, a 5-6 minute video exclusive with analysis, features and whimsy, hosted by yours truly. It will air at www.starnewsonline.com once a week.

Details will come, but was I the only person who thought back to those old college coaches shows? You know, the stiff guy in the windbreaker dissecting highlights and answering softballs from the school play-by-play guy for 30 minutes.

I’m not saying that’s what this will be, but the gist is this: we frequently link to Mull because he’s as knowledgeable as anyone about CAA basketball. Plus, he has an actual sense of humor. The content will be quality.

The point: we get a newspaper professional producing a five minute piece that brings us closer to our attachment to college basketball (and that’s a hint).
