Six games tonight, eight Saturday, and four more Sunday. Understand a lack of specificity.
Here’s the CAA rundown of Friday games.
If I can, I’ll add information from the CAA office and beat guys for the weekend games. No guarantees. Remember when I was looking up four-year records and writing here instead of painting rooms for when family comes to town for Thanksgiving? Yeah, that bill has come due.
Quickly…
Today:
- UNCW had better shoot it well or it will be a long day.
- Most interesting thing about Mason is the response to a difficult end-game yesterday. They are young, and I predict it will be a good reaction. Vets take these things far worse. Mason keeps it close.
- Drake beats Ga State and Hofstra beats Farmingdale.
- Murray State is a very good team in the OVC and is the preseason pick to win it. But I’ll take JMU on the theory that the team that is supposed to win these games, never does.
- Drexel will keep it closer than expected against Rutgers. Layups aside, if the Dragons can shoot 35% and make some free throws they will pull it out. If not, it will be a frustrating 66-60 loss.

I like your point about the youth of Mason rebounding quickly, but we’ll see. 12th, 13th, etc. man Jimmy Nolan has a blog post on the Mason sportsite today about how hard the team took that loss yesterday in the locker room. I don’t know what the 2nd half holds, but I’m wondering if that depression is kicking in today.
Let’s see if Cam Long can play any of the 2nd today.

18 pt. deficit with 12 to go. Totally depressing. I’m gonna listen to the Blues station on XM on the way home from work. Crap.
