Here’s the CAA rundown of Friday games.

Today:

• UNCW had better shoot it well or it will be a long day.
• Most interesting thing about Mason is the response to a difficult end-game yesterday. They are young, and I predict it will be a good reaction. Vets take these things far worse. Mason keeps it close.
• Drake beats Ga State and Hofstra beats Farmingdale.
• Murray State is a very good team in the OVC and is the preseason pick to win it. But I’ll take JMU on the theory that the team that is supposed to win these games, never does.
• Drexel will keep it closer than expected against Rutgers. Layups aside, if the Dragons can shoot 35% and make some free throws they will pull it out. If not, it will be a frustrating 66-60 loss.
