Sadly no, but Ken Pomeroy further whets our appetite with his Log5 projections. It’s surprising stuff, really.

I was thinking last night about the season, and not about the whole “it’s flown by” thing. We have Blaine Taylor on the CAA Radio Show today and I wanted to fire some different questions his way. By now, he’s tired of answering questions about “that Gerald Lee is pretty good.”

I ended up elsewhere.

We all knew everything back in October, didn’t we? Sure everything was changing and there were new players and new attitudes. But we’re all sooooo smart we were sure the CAA season would play out exactly as we planned in our heads.

Marist transfer Jay Gavin was going to be a difference-maker for VCU. Darius James would become All CAA material. William & Mary would stink, and Benny Moss would be coaching UNCW.

This hysterical baloney is today’s reason why we should all strive to live in the present. We can’t change yesterday, so lamenting is wasted energy. We truly don’t know what will come tomorrow (e.g., Robbie Hummel), so fear is another wasted emotion.

Take this CAA tournament for what it’s worth: four days of entertainment.

Later today we’ll post additional Friday information, and look for our thoughts and theories tomorrow.

One Response to “Is It Friday Yet?”

  1. Coach Says:

Figures, you post the link that makes VCU look good. Are you now officially on the CAA payroll?
