Folks, it is the end of an era. Other than this guy, you didn’t really respond to the predictions as in years past. So unless I change my mind, which is likely never happens, this is it. Enjoy.
I’ve got a summer’s worth of par fives to figure out what we’ll do on Game Day, 2010-2011. [...]

We’ll get to the weekend’s action later, but for now we have some random notes, and a huge warning: in 2010, CAA schools are 1-4-1 on Senior Day.
Georgia State lost to ODU, Drexel lost to UNCW, Northeastern lost to Hofstra, and The Pugs lost to Towson. VCUs win over JMU is the lone senior day [...]

Brian Mull has the goods on the UNCW coaching search. As the situation develops, he will bring you every nugget you need. However that entire process may be boring; perhaps even over.
You see, I am officially announcing my candidacy for the head coaching position at UNCW.

Allrighty then. Here are your tiebreaker scenarios for everyone. Clip and save for Saturday. Warning: you will have to read this about four times. Then four more.
New format and the entire lunacy that is seeds #8 through #11 needs credit: this is today’s reason why Rob Washburn, keeper of any CAA knowledge worth having, is [...]

We’ll get there this afternoon, but I’m off for lunch with a [...]

Hang tight today, and literally keep checking back. Tiebreaker scenarios are ludicrous, so we’ll publish what we know and then go head down again. This is an iterative process, and at the very end we’ll grab a drink, put it all together, and sit back and enjoy.
THE TOP SEVEN SEED SCENARIOS
ODU #1 seed with win [...]

…right now if you’ve already purchased tickets to the tourney. Really.
Thanks to last night, you have no idea what’s going to happen.
We’ll be back later this morning with tiebreakers and the like, but we head to Saturday with games pitting the #1  vs. #4 seeds, and #2 vs. #3. Kind of like Sunday semifinals if [...]

The idea hit me as I was planning out the day. Lunch plans with a pooh-bah needed to be confirmed, and in doing so I wrote what I thought was an innocuous email line: “can we just skip Saturday and start playing the CAA tournament now, in a double elimination format?”
Double elimination. Brilliant.
Want to protect [...]
