Other than winning games in the NCAA Tournament? Or having a former CAA player excel in the NBA, I’m not sure what better marketing tool there is.

It’s time. Good riddance, Richmond. If anything, the conference tournament could be rotated regionally every few years, so a few more schools besides VCU get the home court advantage (of course, it’s hard to beat the advantage of being blocks away from home).

I look forward to hearing why you think it is “stupid” to take the tournament out of Richmond. “Stupid” is a very strong word word to use.

I’ll wait to read before posting an opinion, but get ready for a throng of accusations of “VCU bias” the minute it goes live.

Has William & Mary actually defeated 10 of the other 11 CAA teams this season? I know ODU swept them, but I don’t recall the Tribe beating Towson, either.

This is the shortest time span in which W&M has ever been to two conference finals. The shortest previous span was two Southern Conference finals in four years (1958, 1961).
