Here’s everything I know. Please let me know other items and we’ll gladly post them. I’m thinking anything from fan/group get-togethers to official CAA shindigs.

The whole point is to give you the lowdown on what’s going on at the CAA Tournament. To save on time and effort, here’s a giant list. You’ll find ticket info, links to parking and directions, pick up basketball, and our plan of attack. Add to it.

Newest update is a JMU get-together at Capital Ale House:
The pregame party will start at 4:00 PM.
The 1st game of the evening session starts at 6:00 PM
Those who want to enjoy the earlier game their ticket buys them can make the short walk.
Those that dont can stay and continue the pre-party with fellow Dukes until 8:00 PM (this is what I plan to do)
The party will be in the Capital Ale House basement / “game room” complete with pool table and outdoor patio if its warm enough. There is plenty of room in the basement/game room.
So when you enter the bar, walk all the way to the back and just go down the steps and you will find us.
Capital Ale House downtown is located at:
623 E Main Street
Richmond , VA 23219
804-780-2537 (ALES) Option 1

We start with the most basic item: a printable bracket sheet with games, seeds, and times.
The CAA is selling tournament gear. And you can win free gear or tickets, because we’ve got a contest going on.
Of course, there’s tickets. You can order tickets here at Ticketmaster for one session, the entire tournament, or the Full Court Frenzy (a fancy term for the semifinals and finals only).
Or, call Your Team’s ticket office to sit among like-mindeds:

Silver Stars Brunch on Sunday (3/7) at the Richmond Marriott Grand Ballroom. It starts at 10:00am and cost is $35 per ticket. Lots of video from the past 25 years, which will be pretty cool (other than the short-shorts).

The crazy kids at the CAA Zone are going to play some pick up hoops. It will be Saturday morning (3/6) from 7-9 am at the CarMax headquarters. Cost is zero, other than getting up to play hoops on CAA tourney Saturday at 7am. I’ve got to figure they’ll post some directions for you.

Directions and parking are here, including prices.

Our effort is going to be bigger and better than last year, and something that will leave guys like these awestruck. (I kid…the HLN guys are friends.)
We’re going wall-to-wall at the CAA Tournament. Backstage access begins Thursday morning at team shootarounds and that evening at the annual banquet. We’re taking last year’s success in stride: the not-so-good parts have been trimmed, and the good parts are being enhanced.
You can expect the pregame coach interview to return alongside a bigger and better game preview section. Of course we’ll follow the games with live updates throughout.
Our impressions, analysis, and other game action news will stream through a Twitter interface on the site. This means we’ll hashtag so you can contribute, whether you are in the Coliseum, sitting at home, or avoiding work at the office.
Postgame will also be bigger and better. Standard blog wrap ups will follow game action, and links to boxscores, postgame pressers, stats, etc. will be there for the stat geek in all of us.
We plan to get out to the social events as well, and we’re working on live streaming the postgame press conferences so you can hear the coaches and players speak in real time.
More detail to come, but we’ll have it all for you. We even have some additional help this year.
